Our rural tourism project consists of three 18th century stone houses located in the small valley of Olba, a few steps from the Mijares river. Our family has lovingly restored them, maintaining their original structure and converting them into rural houses with a special charm.
The three houses can accommodate from 2 to 19 people and will allow you to enjoy a place of great natural beauty with total independence and privacy.

Discover the history of our rural house in Teruel
La Casa de Los Moyas is a family project to recover the memory of a small abandoned farmhouse that began more almost 40 years ago. The original building, a sturdy stone-walled construction, erected in the 18th century, lay in ruins for many years before being converted first into a private house and later into a rural house.
When our family arrived by chance at the small barrio (that’s how hamlets are called here) of Los Moyas, it had been completely uninhabited for decades. But we fell in love with that magical place, and little by little we restored, by ourselves, what was then nothing more than ruins.
In 2015, we decided to take a turn and launch ourselves into rural tourism to share this unique corner with those who are looking for a different experience in nature, with an authentic, caring and personal approach.
Today, La Casa de Los Moyas is an oasis of peace in the Olba valley, next to the Mijares river, between the Gúdar and Javalambre mountain ranges, offering an exclusive combination of warm hospitality and elegant, comfortable and sustainable accommodation. A place of unspoilt nature and uncontaminated beauty that guarantees a true disconnection to those who visit us. The 18th century stone houses, in harmony and balance with the landscape, are decorated in a sober and warm way to offer a unique experience, with special attention to detail.

Our rural house is located in Olba, a true pueblo of 230 inhabitants where slow life was invented a long time ago and where nature follows the course of the seasons. It is very easy to enjoy the simplest things: vegetables from the garden, bathing in the river, hiking in the mountains and incredible starry nights.
Here life goes by slowly. Summer days with baths in the river, excursions in the mountains, barbecue and starry skies. Winter nights, by the fire, give us back the time for family intimacy, reunions with friends and a romantic getaways
THREE ACCOMMODATIONS
La Casa de Los Moyas consists of three accommodations: The House (with capacity for 10 people), The Tiny House, with capacity for 4 people, and The Penthouse, for 3 people. All spaces are designed with comfort, quality and authenticity in mind to offer travellers an unforgettable experience.

The house is next to the Mijares river, surrounded by forests and large open spaces. The river is one of the key elements of the magic and natural beauty of the valley and the neighborhood of Los Moyas.
It is a luxury to listen to the murmur of flowing water from home, to stroll through the riverside woods of poplars and willows, or to listen to the songs of blackbirds, warblers, and many other birds that nest nearby.
The area where wheat used to be milled is one of our most special areas. In its 8,000m2 you will find the old haystacks, one of the best views over the valley and incredible sunsets.
